Epsilon

Epsilon is a series of large scale cityscape drawings and accompanying comics that exist within a fictional narrative, but runs parallel to our own world. Through my drawings, I have the freedom to envision a world in which topics of order and structure, equity, overpopulation, and authoritarianism reach just one of their infinite extremes in a potential dystopia. Using forced perspective and intricate detailing, I invite the viewer to step into this world and explore it for themselves, needing to immerse themselves in the drawing to fully understand it. This alternate reality is integrated with the real world through multiple facets. Themes of advertisement and commodification of the human body are accompanied by real world companies and profiteers. My cityscapes are inspired by real architecture around the world while fusing them with my own imagination and creativity to imagine how they will look in the future. I want you to step into the world I have created, and consider if this is the world you want to live in.
